ABOUT GIFTS IN WILLS

It’s deeply satisfying knowing that your passions, values and faith will live on, to the next generation and beyond, and that you’ve made a very real difference in the lives of those served by SGM.

Sheila Pritchard, a much-loved pioneer in our community, embodied this spirit when she made an end-of-life donation to SGM. Before she died, she gave her permission to share her reasons for doing so:

“SGM has played such a big part in my life. From finding my first spiritual director, to feeling wonderfully at home in the silence of my first retreat. Later, after training as a spiritual director myself (at St Beuno’s in North Wales), I shared in the ministry of SGM retreats and, ulimately, in the training of other spiritual directors. Now I feel like a grandmother, delighting in new generations of contemplative people giving life to SGM in the 21st century. I take joy in knowing my financial gift will plant seeds that will take root and grow into the future.”
